Do you have an Item Limit for consignors?

At our Spring & Fall events, we allow up to 300 items per consignor ID. We've had folks just sell an item or two or a consignor who fills THREE consignor codes with 300 items in each code! Please remember, the $12 consignor fee is charged per consignor ID. At our Winter Holiday Event in November, we accept 50 hanging infant items (0-9months) per gender, 10 WINTER Maternity items and a maximum of 200 clothing items will be accepted per consignor ID number.

What are my Consignor Options regarding printing barcode labels to stick onto my tags?

Pre-labeling your barcodes is REQUIRED this season! To ensure maximum social distancing, you must pre-label AND have an appointment for drop off. Link to schedule drop off is on the main Northland website page! Option 1 - Let us print them for you free of charge. You can pick them up and label your items at the store on one of the Drop Off Days. (This is most popular.) Option 2 - Let us print them for you free of charge. You'll pick them up early (the day before check in) and label your items at home. Then bring your already labeled items on Drop Off Days. Your items will still be guaranteed as long as your items are brought to Consignor Drop Off in order that you entered them into the system! Option 3 - Print your barcode labels at home using a COLOR PRINTER. Follow the directions CAREFULLY that appear after you enter your items. Label your items at home. Bring your labelled items on Drop Off Days. You will need to sign a Release of Guarantee form.

What is the process for prepping my clothing items?

First, sort all clothing items into sizes by gender. Then, sort into the categories by gender AND by size. The categories are: Spring/Summer Event (February/March Event) - Tops, bottoms, outfits, pj's, sports and swimwear. Fall/Winter Event (August)- Tops, bottoms, outfits, pj's, coats, sports and Holiday.

Can I bring children to the Pre-Sale?

A child will be counted as your one guest during PreSale. We do suggest that you leave them at home, if possible. It can get crowded during PreSale, so your shopping experience will be better if you can leave them at home.

How should I price my items?

We suggest you set the price at 30% of the retail value. Baby Equipment, Furniture and Large Indoor/Outdoor Toys usually sell for more and are in high demand. We have an abundance of 0-6 month sizes, so they must be priced competitively in order to sell. Maternity and Junior clothing are not shopped as heavily, so price these competitively, also.

Can I be a consignor in more than one Rhea Lana event?

Yes, but you will need to enter your items online in separate batches - one for each sale. Be VERY sure you enter your items for the correct sale.

Can I use wire hangers?

Use childrens plastic hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 12 and above. No wire hangers, please! We've NEVER seen an item of clothing that would stay on a wire hanger!!

How do I secure small pieces with Toys or Equipment?

Place them in a ziploc bag and then seal the ziploc with clear packing tape. This is important!

When I sell items in a ziploc bag, how do I attach the price tag?

First, be sure to affix the barcode label to the string tag; do not stick it directly onto the item or the bag. Then attach the string tag to the item and tag inside the bag. Make sure the tag is visible.

Are you accepting Drop Side Cribs?

Due to the latest recall regulations by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, we will not be accepting ANY drop side cribs.

What if my item is not worth your minimum price guideline of $4.00?

If it meets our "excellence quality" standards, then group it together with one or two more like items. Pin them together on a hanger, or group them in a ziploc bag and put one price for the entire group.

Should I iron my clothes?

Wrinkled clothes do not sell! Please do what is necessary to make your clothes look clean and nice. Remember, the better they look, the better they sell!

Can I enter additional batches?

Yes, you may enter additional batches until the cut off time for entering. Please contact us at erin@rhealana.com for more info.

Do you sell furniture?

Yes. Most of the furniture displayed in the Furniture Nook is sold in the first two days of the sale.

You must cash your check within 90 days.

If you fail to cash your check within 90 days, or require your check to be re-issued for any reason, a $35 check re-issue fee will be charged. There are no exceptions to this rule.
